So this has two ways to use it, either it starts beeping when it loses connection or when it is out of Wi-Fi range. I set up a wifi range and have been using it with my cat for over a month. Sometimes my cat would come out and I had no idea where it had gone, with nerlos it was easy. This is useful when she comes out of my yard and starts squeaking, I've also noticed that she doesn't go too far and comes back to my yard. If she's hiding somewhere, I can use the alarm app and find her easily. She probably hates it like I cheat hide and seek :D
