These socks are very soft and provide a bit of warmth. They are quite stretchy. While that makes them comfortable, it also allows them to move around on your feet. I feel that compromises the grippiness factor of the rubber, or whatever it is, treads on the bottoms. I believe the fluffiness combined with the looseness of the material will lessen their durability and, ultimately, their longevity. l don't think I'll be putting these in the dryer.
