Review on πŸ’¨ Powerful and Sleek 18 Inch High-Velocity Indoor Fan with Aluminum Blades - OEMTOOLS OEM24881 by Troy Williams

Not enough air for too much money

I mean it moves some air. I can't figure out why it's called a "high speed" fan when it looks like someone's mouth is blowing on you when the fan is only 3 feet away from you. I work in a garage and it gets hot and humid. I didn't have high hopes for this fan and didn't expect it to fit in a wind tunnel or anything. I was actually pretty excited to have it. I turned it on and think the USB desktop fan will bleed as much air as this fan, if not more, if the desktop fan were the same size (at 5V 1A, may I add). I seriously believe that with such a heavy fork this fan can blow out significantly more air. Even if it requires a bigger motor, which makes the price fair. A $60 fan cannot be compared to a USB fan. I'm giving it 2 stars simply because I've found a good spot for it on cool but humid days when a light breeze makes it more comfortable. Definitely not worth the price they charge for it, maybe half the list price for the air moving it out of the box. All of my recommendations were with the fan on level 3 (highest setting).

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Some flaws
