I used to prepare Christmas in the country with cotton burlap and pine cones. I also went with the buffalo plaid theme. Our Christmas decorations were a reminder of the journey we took this fall where we met wonderful donkeys, picked cotton by the roadside and found moss in the forest. These decorations are perfect for this theme. I've also made homemade decorations, I used some old ones, these and some from Macy's. I've included a picture of part of the tree where you can see one of these decorations hanging alongside the others. I love a lot of the decorations on my tree!
