good value for money

This is a really nice and informative DVD. This is a must-have for knitter references and handy resources. What I liked most about this product is the good knowledge, application and use of the pressure gauge. Meg and mother Elizabeth openly demonstrate the use of the 'percentage method' in making clothes. The authors very wisely note that if it works NO, it is wrong. I think you will like their way of making a sock. Which shows that intuitive knitting isn't all that bad. The freedom to create clothes in one's own way and design is encouraged. The authors convincingly demonstrate the importance of measuring thickness at every point of product design so that in the end the likelihood that you will have to come loose is greatly reduced. For the knitter who enjoys using other people's patterns but wants to create her own designs, this product is for you. Zimmerman demonstrates his percentage knitting method using specific sweater styles. After measuring overall height, all other components such as sleeves, wrists, neck, etc. are measured at a certain percentage. However, everyone is free to make adjustments as they wish. Of course, this DVD is mainly about knitting in the round. He offers some things not knit in a circle, a wading jacket; Vest using the authors original construction methods. I found that my understanding of using caliber, regardless of whether the percentage method was being used, had greatly increased. Take the guesswork out of calibration and gain confidence through careful calculations, thorough calibration checks, and the use of calibration patterns. Planning ahead ensures that the clothes you enjoy making, wearing, or giving away are also clothes you enjoy.
