Here's the truth about "kids" tablets. These are just very cheap pills but packaged like for kids. You are not. It's mostly junk and you'd better get a better tablet for around 120. But compared to other tablets in this racket, this one is pretty decent. If you're happy with the price (I'm assuming you are, since you don't want to spend $100 on a tablet that your kid might throw down the toilet), you're getting a pretty decent screen. The sound is not great but maybe better considering the user. Mine came with a rubber protector which is a MUST when it comes to kids. YouTube Kids comes preinstalled on these tablets. It's good for little kids. Being an Android device, you can download all sorts of games for the little ones. No problem, here's the thing, ALL THESE TABLETS ARE SLOW. If you don't install a lot of things, it won't bother you. But when he has to use up a lot of RAM by downloading a lot of apps, it becomes unbearable. So maybe 4 or 5 game apps, but no more. Cons of this particular tablet, BATTERY TIME. It discharges very quickly, so keep your charger close by. Overall I'm not thrilled with it, but given the choice I'm happy
