When I first got this in March 2019 I tried to put it on my pans and thought it didn't fit so it sat in the drawer for almost a year until one day all my other filters got dirty were and I traced this. I had to use it on my smallest pan and it just kept going and worked! I've only tried it on a few large pots so far and couldn't get it right. Once I got it working on the small pan and realized I had placed it wrong on the big pan, I zoomed in on my larger pans. After that initial success, I had no problem using it on all of my pots to drain everything (even heavy pots of boiling potatoes). I now use a colander to drain excess liquid from pots of all sizes and sometimes even bowls.
