Review on 🚪 LG AGM73610701 Door Magnet and Spring Holder - Enhanced Stability and Perfect Fit by Eddie Pollard

Whoever built this didn't put enough or the right magnet in it. My old one, which had a piece of plastic broken off and wouldn't stay in the door, was a lot heavier, pulled the door out and held it. I thought when I held it it was a lot lighter than the old one. This is the correct piece as it is identical to the old one except for the strength of the magnet. Ordered from Revain but shipped from another company. When I called this company they blamed Revain and said if I had ordered through them I would have received the correct part. Of course it was a foreigner I spoke to and I tried to explain that this is the correct part and it was from the company he worked for and I researched it before ordering to make sure it's the right part! (I hung up) The magnet is so weak it won't keep the door closed. It runs against the washing machine as intended, but doesn't have the strength to hold the door closed to allow a small gap in the open door to prevent mold and mildew from growing when not in use. In other words, let the air in the washing machine! They told me to send it back but I would have to break the magnet to get it and I don't want to damage the hole it goes in. Close the door, the magnet sits on the spring and she enters. For some, keeping the door closed rather than closing it completely to allow for ventilation helps. Very disappointed!
