Good starting point.
Headset works as advertised. The remote wasn't very helpful, but I suspect it's a function of the software application and not the remote itself. The biggest limitation isn't specific to the headset, but rather a somewhat limited set of apps you can use on your smartphone. It's definitely a good economical way to get started with VR headsets, rather than shelling out a few hundred bucks on an Oculus Rift only to find you're getting seasick.
