I bought this although it was a bit bulky and I had to return it to my GoPro because of a free 3.5mm input jack. It is difficult to hold a 3.5mm microphone plug. It also made a small constant helicopter noise and was sometimes recorded with no sound. I informed the GoPro and they sent me a new one and it made a LOUD helicopter noise and recorded with no sound when you used the record button. In order for the adapter to continuously record sound, you had to use a mobile app. However, the constant clapping of the helicopter was extremely loud and unbearable. Save money and buy the Moto Z Type-C to 3.5mm Headphone Audio Adapter 2-Pack USB-C to 3.5mm for $7.99 at Revain. Works perfectly!
