I've tried to find out exactly who to speak to with the manufacturer but I can't find them. I haven't had this hair dryer in quite a while, a month and a half, and I don't "need" much of it. I have short, fine hair that I blow dry once or twice a week. However, 60-90 seconds after starting this thing at low speed, the sound of the engine changes to creep and there is a smell of combustion. I've fiddled with disconnecting, reconnecting, changing speed and temperature to no avail. It's still blowing (air, it's blowing air, you weirdo) but the noise is disturbing and the smell scares me too much. Needless to say I won't be using this again for fear of either starting a fire or electrocuting myself. Don't say I didn't warn you.
