This is NOT like many other Vantec products that I've used over the years have a basket or tray that the hard drive attaches to and then inserts into the case If the purpose of that case was for one-time use (e.g. disaster recovery) or similar, then this may not be a problem I plan on using it as a portable hard drive however I don't want my drive to rattle in the case and bend the data and power connector and I also want n ot make electrical contact with the outside of the case. Too bad Vantec has made some really high quality products in the past. This doesn't seem to be one of them. When I first opened the box I thought a trolley part was missing, but as far as I can tell now that model may not come with it. The packaging is beautiful. In the box: - aluminum body - thin piece.
