First of all, this isn't my first pair of headphones. Secondly, you would get bored if I described all the headphones I had (and still have). Finally, I consider myself an audiophile. I'm very picky about how my music sounds. Okay, all the paperwork is done, these headphones. From the minute I put them on, I noticed two things: clarity and separation. Very pronounced bass, but not dull or overdriven. Mids and highs are crystal clear. A good example song to try out all aspects (low, mid and high) is Brian Bromberg's "Slap Happy". Although the bass can be seen, you can clearly hear the horns, synth, drums and lead guitar. Unconvinced? Go to Youtube and listen to the video "3D Surround". You'll be amazed. Conclusion: For the price, you can't go wrong. Now that I think about it I'll buy another pair (Shh don't tell my wife) if the price goes up! Enjoy! :-)
