My engagement ring has always been a little big and that really helped. I've had it for about three months now and have only had to replace it once. The longer I wore it, the more the band seemed to shrink and stick to my ring. After about two months the edges stopped sticking and had to be replaced. But, hey, there are plenty of these in the pack, so changing them every month or two isn't a problem. You don't really notice it's on the ring and it just makes the ring more comfortable because it fits better. I've tried using these plastic sizing tools that wrap around the ring, but they always look a bit odd and are quite eye-catching, at least on a men's wedding ring that's meant to look the same from every angle. This works much better. I only used it with a whole strip, I didn't try to cut them. It would be better if it was a little easier to get out. Now it's really snug and comfortable, but when I tighten it sometimes the ends of the strip move a little. I used silver and white stripes on my white gold engagement ring. Silver mixes better but is not visible at all. The ring will not be damaged but the glue works well.
