I bought 2 of these packs for my class where I teach 8th grade physics. I have a couple of old monitors, a flat screen TV and 2 projectors. I use them with 2 VGA splitters and they have been great for providing information to my students, many of whom have undiagnosed vision problems or are just too conceited to wear glasses. Half splitters don't screw in VGA cables on both sides - and it doesn't matter which side I screw in first; I have tried many different cables and I feel like I work in the quality control department of this company. It seems that the threads are not always reamed to hold the cable screws. This was frustrating as a number of monitors would suddenly turn off or turn blue. For the ones that worked properly, it was GREAT for creating a safe, tangle-free environment, especially since I have footage of 13 year olds. that require constant monitoring and the LAST thing I need is for someone to get caught or trip over the cable, especially when carrying sensitive gear! I ended up spending over an HOUR picking up 7" zip ties from the store for only 99 cents (50 cent pack - DO NOT buy the little ones over 100; they're not even close to being long enough!) and wrapping them transparent gorilla band. If I had to do it all over again, I'd just buy some longer VGA cables. As a PLUS, I still have a lot of Gorilla Tape left, so I fixed my wallet and a few other things. Gotta love the zip ties - I cleaned up my cable organizer.
