It runs at rated speed per capacity (3300+ reads, 2900+ writes in my first test). You will notice some difference from other users, some results will be faster, others will be slower, but this is the hardware for you. In my experience PNY is as reliable a brand as Samsung and the XLR8 line (accelerated) is their best performer. This is the pinnacle of M.2 PCIE 3 NVME. If you also need top performance for other read/write operations, Samsung and WD can certainly hit harder, but not on price. The only thing missing is a nice sticker in the box. I receive them with products I don't expect and I don't receive them with products I expect to appear. So life is.
