This Brady PermaSleeve cartridge fits my red IDPal. I use these wire marker sleeves for modifications I make to industrial equipment. The cartridge contains white heat shrink tubing that is wrapped flat inside the cartridge. When you press on the print it comes out flat. After cutting the label, you need to open the tube, after which you can insert the wire. A flattened label is sometimes difficult to open and may take some time. Heat shrink tubing is a must for smaller wires as the tag will fall off easily. When heated, the label shrinks significantly. I set IDPal to large font because it compresses heavily. I am happy with this size as it fits my 22 AWG signal wiring and also my 10 AWG power wiring. Benefits: + Gives cabling a professional look + No adhesive is used for durable heat shrink tubing + High shrink rate means one cartridge fits a wide range of cable sizes. + Essential IDPal printer at a great price. Bad: - Expensive cartridges! The cartridge is used up very quickly - Rubbing vigorously with your finger can easily smudge the print - Squeezing the tube and inserting the wire takes a long time.
