The HDMI to VGA cable was not working on my monitor. Connected it from a Mac Mini to a Dell display. Nothing appeared. So we had to use my wife's monitor and a different cable for my desk. Somehow the VGA/HDMI cable worked for her with an adapter. Super weird, pretty annoying.
