This has never worked on my 2011 Honda Element. I get error code P2A00. I had replaced the first sensor but even replacing it gave the same error. Yes, I tried to clear the error code with an ODBII scanner, but after a while the error code came back. After I reinstalled the original factory sensor, the error code no longer appeared after removing it with an ODBII scanner. I've had bad gas usage and after researching I found that O2 sensors fail over time causing bad gas. mileage. Since I had over 110,000 miles on my Element I figured it was time to replace both sensors anyway as they were a lot cheaper than the factory sensors. Too bad this sensor (Denso 234-9064) didn't suit me. Although the bottom sensor (Denso 234-4733) worked fine.
