I bought this for my 2018 QX60 with 16,000 miles. Every time we turned on the heater or air conditioner in the truck, there was a smell of wet bathroom wipers coming through the vents. I called my buddy from the Infiniti Service Advisor and he said to change the cabin air filter. The advice he gave me was, after removing the old filter, before installing the new one, open the hood and clear the air intake area (passenger side to the windshield covered by the hood) of leaves and the heating and cooling system to let go. on high power while spraying Lysol sanitizer on the air conditioner air intake for a minute or more depending on how smelly it is. I switched it from warming my feet to my face and thawing to make sure the Lysol gets into all the vents. This will kill most of the mold or mildew that may cling to the vents. Removing the old filter wasn't difficult as it's flimsy. This is a powerful filter, and it doesn't let itself be intimidated into anything. So go slow and be patient, it will fit once you find the right angle to plug it in. Will definitely buy again if needed, works great.
