After a month of good behavior and doing his homework without complaining, our 7 year old was rewarded with this dragonoid--something completely foreign to this mama, but sure enough IT WAS A HIT.The dragon is made up of 7 mini "transformers", so to speak, that all twist and bend and manipulate in different ways. The dragons are supposed to be able to be put together like a 3D puzzle to make one huge dragon, but forget about this part of it. They don't stay together, or hold, so you can assemble them the way that they're supposed to be assembled but the big dragon just falls apart. This didn't bother our kid, though, as the allure really seemed to be in the 7 individual "transformers". He divvied these up and shared with his brother, and we got lots of imaginative play out of them.7/8 year old boys are always hard to buy gifts for, so if you're in need of one, i'd highly recommend this.
