This seems to work well and inflate the tire to 100 pounds with little effort. At least you can put your foot on the tongue and press down on the grip with all your weight. The numerous complaints about having to thread the hose end onto the valve stem seem unfounded. I didn't see that as a problem; although some Presta tubes come with valve cores that unscrew completely. If this is the case, all you have to do when unscrewing is to pull and wiggle the end of the hose to get the valve core to stay in and the hose to come loose. I don't see anything that would make the more expensive brands ($30+) any better.
