This fabric conditioner sticks together when seated. The date was ok, as I asked the manufacturer. I ordered a suitcase and when I was halfway there it clogged my car and I had to clean the portals that held the softener. I do not recommend buying more than one bottle at a time. I really liked it initially and liked the small bottles as they were easy to use after my knee surgery. Otherwise this is a good product. I wish the company would fix the clumping problem that occurs after sitting. It didn't freeze as I kept it in a box in the bedroom away from the vent.
