Unstable bottom for tea infuser and filter

I liked this mug with one obvious issue aside. Due to the silicone base, the mug will not lie flat on the surface. It is very shaky which makes it unstable. If it fits on a multifunction lid, it works. But then you can't cover the mug. I like drinking tea at my desk at work but I can't because it's either not covered or it's not on my desk either way it could spill. And I'm a very clumsy person!

Pros

Great flow: very thin stainless steel infuser provides excellent water flow and plenty of room for brewing tea leaves

Cons

Not as good as it says it is
