While it works well for a 10 gallon tank, the bowl is actually much deeper than I expected so it's best to keep the water shallow to leave enough to prevent small animals from drowning. Also, it was green instead of the advertised shades of gray. But at least it leaves enough room to roam freely if you're worried about decor clutter. I would have given the product 4 stars if it hadn't been delivered a week after the "lost" message.
