Perfect for deep conditioning
take this to deep condition my hair and it gets really hot under the hood. The water reservoir is a nice feature that helps deliver essential moisture to your hair and helps the conditioner penetrate the hair shaft better to keep it smooth and soft. The spring action of the pole helps you pull the hood right over your head and it stays where you set it. If the water gets too low, the heat and steam shut off to keep the unit from overheating, which I like. I use it every weekend and haven't had any problems with it yet.
