I bought Hiware forks and longer teaspoons because we liked the simple design. We're happy with that, HOWEVER, this "lunchspoon" bowl is barely larger than a teaspoon (you'll have to look VERY carefully - it only pops out 1-2 millimeters at a time. Length maybe 1/2 inch longer. The capacity of this tablespoon are likely 1 1/2 tsp I'm used to those types of spoons that hold a full tablespoon (apologies for the imperfect position of the ruler, but you can see there's a very slight difference - 1/16" UPDATE: Others Reviews claim this tablespoon is "bigger than a teaspoon", "like a tablespoon", but please see my photos I promise I don't smoke!, I smell a conspiracy Both Hiware spoons, the left one is a long teaspoon and the right one is a tablespoon. I measured the widest part of the teaspoon to be 1 3/8" and the width of the tablespoon is only 1/16" wider (1 7/16").
