I just bought two of these and I like the results I get with them. The light quality overall is fantastic. The body doesn't seem to take the hit, but then again, I'm only shooting in the studio, so I don't plan on hitting him that often. The only thing that interested me was what aperture and distance I could shoot with. So I pulled out a light meter and in my opinion the performance is more than enough for portrait photography. At 100 ISO and a shutter speed of 1/125 second, the f-numbers were as follows: 8ft - 5.6 6ft - 8 4ft - 11 2ft - 22
