lost time and money.

YONGNUO YN600L Pro LED video light. This video light is advertised as a 5600K light and that is the main reason I bought this light. Instead I got a 3200-5600K bicolor light which is not suitable for the intended use. lost time and money.

good light. Very bright and the color looks 5500K.

beautiful light. very bright and the color seems to me 5500K. The fan wouldn't turn on even after an hour of continuous use, so I can't comment on the "fan noise issue" that some have mentioned. I'll definitely get a few more of these in the future.

Incomplete.: Lighting and Studio

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I received mine incomplete. I contacted them to let them know I did not receive my product as described, they asked for photos and then completely ignored me. My kit did not include a remote control or handle. I recommend ordering from another seller.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Fan noise isn't terrible

I've only tried this light once and I have to agree it's very bright. Love the remote control options and you can't fault them for not including a battery as they told you in the product details. I used this outside and when the fan came on I could barely hear it. I'm looking forward to using it in a more controlled environment to see if it's unbearable as some people say.

Man I love these things!

I ordered two of these. I use them to set up my portable studio to create Youtube videos. I think it's great that I don't have to worry so much about the lighting conditions in the places I'm visiting right now. I carry a bag with 5 tripods, 3 cameras, 2 lights and wireless microphones. I place the lights on two (cheap) tripods and the cameras next to them. And it's great that these lightweight portable lamps don't generate much heat and have filters that adjust to the ambient…

Ideal for portrait photography. Check out my light meter review

I just bought two of these and I like the results I get with them. The light quality overall is fantastic. The body doesn't seem to take the hit, but then again, I'm only shooting in the studio, so I don't plan on hitting him that often. The only thing that interested me was what aperture and distance I could shoot with. So I pulled out a light meter and in my opinion the performance is more than enough for portrait photography. At 100 ISO and a shutter speed of 1/125 second, the f-numbers were

Small but BRIGHT* incl. lighting

This lamp is one of the smallest in my arsenal, but it has the brightest light. It comes with a remote control and it can be dimmed which is a HUGE plus. It comes with this weird mount that I can't really see unless you're using Hollywood lights. The fan on them is noticeable when they get hot, but that shouldn't be a big deal. A major disadvantage is that barn doors are useless to them. They help dim the light a bit, but that's not what barn doors are for. They are used to cut light. I don't…

And those headlights are great.

I'm a bar mitzvah and wedding photographer and these lights are great. BUT, as many have said, the barn doors suck, the instructions suck because the company didn't hire a native English speaker to translate them. Also, you need to order a separate power adapter for them (or use a Sony camcorder). Batteries that last many hours, but why take the risk)? The only downside is that they're crappy shots if you get the right light (ie one that's only 5500K, or a double block that's both 3200K). and…

Happy If you use it as the main light source, order another to fill it

Very nice and bright. Used as the main light source for YouTube style talking head videos I do for school projects. This annoyed me at first, but the 1/4"/20 thread was a pretty good feature as I could use existing ball head mounts to position the flashlight without having to buy adapters. It also means I can carry it with I can mount a quick release plate on my tripod and switch lights and cameras on a whim It won't be too technical but I'll put some numbers out if I remember them As a main…
