I ordered this product despite the high price because I liked the look and the expandability. The item comes with a 1 year guarantee but to be honest I haven't checked as my past experience suggests cutlery organizers last a long time, well over 5 years. This product worked well for the first 12-13 months. After that, quite quickly, several bamboo slats dividing the organizer into different sections (each of which is removable) began to deform and, as a result, no longer constituted an effective barrier between the compartments. We use the product carefully and it has been with us since the purchase stayed in the same place (in the box); The only thing I can give him credit for is his inability to face the east coast winter weather, or rather the central heating that kicks on in the building when it gets cold. I've had some discussions with the manufacturer/supplier of the product I'd like to deal with, but I really couldn't find a solution (e.g. replacing the interior panels) that would allow me to continue using this product. . Technically I contacted them 14 months after purchase (when the problem started) so it was no longer a warranty issue. But as I mentioned above, I think products of this type/functionality are built to last. In any case, I will use a simpler product in the future.
