I have an Apple display that is compatible with older MacBooks that have a Thunderbolt display port. I thought I had to leave with a $50+ Apple Key when I got the MBP 2020 at my work place - no! This thing is perfect. Secure connection, picture works great. Of course I don't want the connectors to stick out like that, but beggars can't dial and that doesn't bother me at all. If you have a new MacBook but want your old Apple display to work, this is the key you need.
