We have a large memory foam mattress that sits on a platform frame. The mattress is incredibly heavy and almost impossible for me to maneuver to put a typical skirt on our bed. especially with all the gaps and grooves of our platform frame that the mattress rests on. So the answer to my problem was to buy a wrap skirt. The only problem was the skirt kept sliding down and not sitting in place. I found these rock pins through a search on Amazon and they help. I have a problem with one or two popping up somehow from time to time. I'm not sure if it's because they're inserted into our memory foam gauge and our weight causes some displacement, causing the pins to fall out. They may not be designed for our type of mattress, but I don't mind adjusting them from time to time. I don't like those white plastic bits either, but my duvet hangs low enough to cover it when the bed is made. Overall it's great and I recommend it.
