Review on OLOy DDR4 RAM 16GB (2X8GB) Warhawk Aura Sync RGB 3200 MHz CL16 1 by Brian Forbis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

CL16 20 20 39 but they won't tell you.

The description doesn't say that this is a CL16 20 20 set and not a CL16 18 18 set. The kit shines a lot dimmer than the old CL16 18 18 kit. The left pair and earlier faster dial than the Right one. Color rendering is even darker than the EK cooler next to it, and the cooler's LEDs are housed under an opaque center cover. The difference between the two storage sets is so great that the camera perceives the LEDs of older sets as a hotspot. If you're buying something to run the 3200 at XMP and don't care about timings, this kit might be a good choice. However, if you want accurate color reproduction, you should probably buy an older option or another manufacturer's product. Also note that this brand of memory is often out of sync with RGB control on first boot and may require a second cold boot to sync when used with MSI motherboards. I ran into this regularly on my X570 and B450 MSI boards.
