These are real nuts. What I mean? I only recently found out after owning the car for 3 years that the lug nuts were plated with cheap tin over the real lug nuts. It was this coating that made the wheels look nice, being a Lincoln with protruding lugs over the magazines. Why Lincoln would go so cheap is beyond me. I recognized it because it looked like the dealer's service dept had rounded the lugs with an impact wrench. The real lugs turned out to be ok, it was cheap tin that was definitely past its lifespan. These new ones look similar in style but are solid and genuine. No tin plating. That's what Lincoln had to put on the $55,000 car. And they cost less than a dollar each from Revain.
