Revain suggested this cable and I did some research to ensure I understand what Category 8 cables have to offer In the near future I need the fastest transfer speeds possible to transfer video files to download. I don't know if using an online speed test is a reliable way to test the effectiveness of this cable, but my "ping" speed increased from 22ms to 1pm, 12pm, 2pm when internet traffic in my area is usually heavy, which slows down my internet service) my download speed dropped from 130 to 270 Mbps and my upload speed dropped from 10.73 to 11.79 Mbps. I've been using category 5 cable and didn't get those speeds, so I'm very happy with this cable! My search pages load faster than I've ever noticed. I bought two (first for my 2017 27" Mac, second for my Lenovo backup tower) and have had even better results with Lenovo. Considering the price, I am very happy with the result! I know if more expensive cables would make a difference but they seem to be of good quality for my needs and I will definitely be buying them again!
