Review on Japanese-Made MIND UP Toothbrush for Dogs: Kenko Care, Easy to Use! by Heather Welsh

Finally someone thought about what small dogs need! Thanks MindUp! Small dogs like Chihuahuas, some Yorkies and Miniature Poodles are very prone to dental disease which can lead to tooth loss, bone loss, fractured jaws and even amputation of parts of the lower jaw. So why is it so difficult to find a toothbrush that fits? the tiny mouths of these little dogs? I've tried finger brushes, 360 baby toothbrushes, cat toothbrushes, small paint and makeup brushes, and even a Wisp disposable human breath freshener toothbrush (after removing the mint bead, of course), but they're all too big (like if You're trying to brush your teeth with a hairbrush), or the bristles are too hard (Wisp and 2 different cat toothbrushes) or they're just not designed properly (paint and makeup brushes). I have conscientiously brushed my 3.5 lb Chihuahua's teeth for most of her 12 year life (so far) but she still had 6 teeth removed a few years ago and now needs maxillofacial surgery. and removed another 15 teeth to stop the bone loss that is taking place in his lower jaw. All because her mouth is too small for a real toothbrush - still! Thank you, thank you, thank you Mind Up for this wonderful little Kenko Care Micro Head Toothbrush! It actually fits ALL teeth so I can clean the inside, outside, back, and gum line and she doesn't choke on it! It's absolutely wonderful. I only wish I had had her a few years earlier. I hope this wonderful little brush will make it easier for small dog owners to properly care for their small dog's teeth and save them from having to endure what my little angel had to go through. Now go brush your dog's teeth!
