Review on 🥦 Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver Storage Container by Jose Fongdara

This is my third purchase of this product. I bought the first one at the supermarket and it worked like a charm. Bought for my parents for the second time. I took the risk because it's more than I would pay for a food storage unit. But the savings have more than paid off. I am a single father and have 45% children. So I have to stretch my grocery shopping. Otherwise I throw away food - and I hate it! They allow me to stretch my veggies longer to increase the time between family meals. I have read many reviews about speeding up the decomposition process and to be honest this is not my experience. When I bought them for my parents, they tended to wash the food before putting it in the cell. But that is NOT what you should do. The instructions are a bit imperfect because they are in the packaging around the device and most people rip them off and don't read them. The instructions for use clearly state that you should not wash food before putting it in the appliance. I suspect people who have had bad experiences with appliances have done just that (it's a natural tendency to wash before storing). I think keeping the natural elements in the product helps with longevity, but that's just my guess. Anyway, it works like a charm for me. Hope that helps!
