Almost perfect. It has many nice features and only a few minor flaws. The base is fixed and will not move when magnetically connected to a metal plate. The plastic alligator clips are strong enough to hold your item without damaging it. The arms are flexible but strong enough to hold their position (most of the time). The plastic C-brackets (think Lego men's arms) that attach to the metal tubes at the base are loose enough that they can be adjusted and rotated side-to-side, but still hold their position. However, this means that a strong atomization of air causes them to rotate around a metal tube. I did a quick test with my airbrush and a flat piece of plastic and immediately realized that you need to use at least one hand perpendicular to your spray angle to prevent it from rotating, or two hands on different axes. The levers themselves are thick plastic-coated wire that holds its shape well. However, they flex slightly under air pressure and then return to their original position. It's not a lot of exercise, but something to keep in mind. It would be ideal if everything was rock solid, but it isn't. I had some thoughts on how to improve it. I'm thinking of adding some rubber to the C-clamps that attach it to the metal rods to add some friction to keep it from spinning. but it makes it difficult sliding or rotating them from side to side without taking them off and then adjusting them to the right position. I'm also thinking of taking a thicker wire and stripping the insulation. It's the same gauge as the original insulated wire but still fits the base and alligator clips. This should reduce the slight bend in the arm.
