Sturdy, somewhat easy to assemble and definitely a gift.
This was a great STEM gift for my niece. In fact, I bought another, not my own daughter. This is a fairly durable plastic material. There are many small parts so it might be suitable for a more advanced toddler/toddler. It's great when assembled, but I can't imagine my 4 year old putting it together well enough to get any real fictional use of this toy. This is sure to be a great gift. I gave it a 5 because overall it lived up to all the reviews and was pretty much what I expected. I don't feel like it was a waste of money and would recommend it.
