Review on πŸ“Ž LETION Cutter – Enhancing Scrapbooking Photo Safeguard with Precision Paper Guillotine by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for most jobs though.

I had a stack of duplicate photos that I printed out to give to my family for Christmas. Cutting the paper with scissors only ruined the photos. I didn't want to spend a lot on something I would only use on rare occasions, so when I saw this I thought it would meet my needs. At first I was surprised how small it is and also by the design. I didn't have high hopes at the time. anyway i tried. For the first or second time, I didn't notice the raised edge on the left where you press on the paper to align it vertically. There are lines below and above the flip paper holder to help you position it horizontally. To cut, press the orange slider. which pushes the blade outward and down into the paper. Then simply move it across the board with slow, even pressure. I almost always get nice straight cuts. only if I'm in a hurry don't do it, only then will I get in trouble. I would rank it higher, but it requires slower work than a traditional blade type. That said, these units can easily cost well over a hundred or more. So all in all I'm happy with it. I can recommend it with the caveat that this is a budget cutter so don't expect the same as one that costs ten times the price.

Pros
  • Retractable Sharp Blades
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared
