I like them but very poor quality control. The

I was interested and curious to try these bifocal sunglasses. I have good quality trifocal reading glasses - I guess you could say prescription even though they are reading glasses only. These high-quality glasses have an imperceptible transition between different pieces of glass. So it's really hard to get used to the sudden change of this bifocal plastic. I gave this pair one star for very poor quality control. Plastic"glass" does not sit evenly/properly in the frame. There is a gap on one side between the "glass" and the frame of the bridge. (Would be the side of my left eye.) I can see daylight through the slit. Daylight also comes through the right side, but not as wide as the left side - between 1/32 inch and 1/16 inch spacing, almost 1/2 inch long. If it wasn't for the fault I would put these glasses on 4 stars. But the downside is very obvious and inconvenient to see through. But I think they're decent for boat line work. They are light. They are comfortable to wear. You won't be able to drive in it, but if you often if you find yourself in a situation where you need to look at something with magnification, this could be the answer. You should wear normal sunglasses. They come in a plastic zip-lock bag, no box, complete with a cheap fabric drawstring pouch.

Pros
  • bifocal sunglasses have molded diopter magnifying lenses on the inner corners.
