Review on Huffy Lil Cruizer Kids Bike by Kory Shelton

I bought this from Revain inventory as used - like new. Usually "Used - Like New" is translated as "Open Box" - practically new except the box was opened but the buyer changed his mind and sent it back. However, sometimes there is a small problem. In this case, there was a rather big problem - one of the wheels had neither a tube nor a tire! I often manage to contact the manufacturer and get the missing part from them free of charge. In this case, Huffy made it easy - go to their website, provide the product name, date and place of purchase, and missing parts, which they have part diagrams for. Very easy. Only I got a different bike - again no inner tubes, no tires! So I call Huffy and speak to a customer service representative who tells me that this bike comes with solid, non-inflatable tires. This is quite odd as the other tire that comes with the bike is a tube and tire combo (which I prefer). At this point I decide to return it to Revane. However, before I disembark, I decide to contact Huffy again - the first representative must have got it wrong. Naturally. This time the rep says they have inflatable tires and offer to ship the kit for free. With the return window closed, I waited for the package - about 1 week. Not only did I get the correct inner tube and tire this time, but Huffy was considerate enough to include TWO sets to match the tires. They even included a fancy metal valve cover for each. I mounted the tube and tires with a 14" tire shovel in minutes with no problems. Problem solved. Now the bike is almost perfect. The only other minor issue is that the Triple-T bearing race is a bit rough. It's not scary, and unless the steering wheel nut is tightened, it really isn't noticeable. The handlebar turns without resistance. So it took a bit more work but I got what I wanted - a basic balance bike for little money and with all the features I thought were important that will easily last the time my little one needs them . Thank you Huffy for making a decent product at an affordable price and for the thoughtful product support too!
