Review on Wyze Cam Pan 1080p WiFi Indoor Smart Home Camera with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Works with Alexa & Google Assistant, White - WYZECP1 by Eric Speers

I'm a little camera freak. I have wired (fixed) cameras connected to a DVR as well as 4 Nest cameras. But we have a lot of pets and I wanted to have multiple PTZ cameras so I could look around and check on them when we're not home. I've heard several tech podcasts (TWiT, Stacey on IoT) ranting and raving about this Wyze camera, so I settled on one. WOW, that's great to be able to get all of this for $30 (plus shipping)! The picture is very clear and I LOVE being able to scan the room with my phone. I even installed the Wyze app on my Pixelbook and when I zoom in on the big screen it looks amazing. I've only hooked up a camera a day and am still learning the basics, but I'm SO pleased I'll be ordering two more if not three cameras now! The motion detection feature is pretty slick. I set up a camera in our guest room where some of our cats were staying and when Barbie walked in the camera spotted her and started following her movements. She was fascinated by the sound (noticeable, but not loud, by the way) of the camera, whirring, spinning. I've attached a screenshot taken through the app showing it examining the Wyze cam! Highly recommended.
