My wife and I work remotely. When I first started I bought this to use with my computer. But after working from home for a few months, I bought a special adapter to work with my computer. I have a Surface Pro and the adapter made for the Surface Pro was a much better option. On the other hand, my wife used a Lenovo laptop in her office and worked with a small screen on the laptop. She was frustrated with the fonts and everything was too small for her to work with. She left and took a large monitor from her office to use at home. However, she didn't want to take the high-power adapter she had in the office with her. I suggested using a mini display and she tried it. Now she likes the adapter. It's a lot smaller than the one she has in her office and works great with the monitor. She is very happy because the area she uses for work at home is small. So the little adapter works very well. I highly recommend it and my wife loves it very much and gives it a high rating. She will give it 10 stars but the rating will only be 5.
