This item is very well made. It is convenient to fold to pack in your carry-on luggage and use to store your phone or tablet during a flight. It has good pads to avoid scratching the surfaces it is resting on or the phone/tablet resting on it. He holds his position well, with a good balance between being too stiff to move easily and not stiff enough (so he "relaxes" his position on his own). It's nice that there aren't any "preset" positions, so it can be adjusted to suit your goals and viewing angle. I'm not sure I could make a better choice for a phone/tablet stand.
