Now let me say that the smaller part of the plug (the part that plugs itself into the wall) is noticeably shorter than the one that came with my Book, but that's not the part that needed replacing so I just threw it away. What constantly wears out for me is the part that connects to the laptop, especially this time it was where the cable connects to the magnetic head. as long as nothing gets hot. Will update when it starts breaking down to give you a "life" - as this is my second replacement after all.
