Not Very Magnetic Base

Works well with shorter antennas but can't go over 45 mph without pulling magnet off on my car with a VHF 5/8 wave antenna. I bought this specifically for this antenna and it failed. However, I used it to communicate with my local ARES group and it worked great on the landline.
