Heavy for its size. Firmly. It might have been safer with the hinges on top, because when my dog steps on it to get down, their 65-pound weight pushes the ramp up on the hinges. Their spreading and ataxia require a wider ramp. The surface is not grippy enough, too flat. I would like these ramps to come with a secure way to attach them to the car or deck. It didn't fit my car doors properly except for the sunroof so I'll be using it in conjunction with the seat belts to make sure it doesn't fall off. I made a ramp out of plywood, screws and scraps of carpet for the deck.
