The camera worked well with all the 'advertised' features. What is not mentioned in the product description is the color rendering. The camera does not reproduce the colors associated with red with good accuracy. The red color has a slight orange tinge. This means that the colors associated with red are also affected. such as purple, magenta, and darker pink. All other colors were good. and the camera is sharp and clear. As the camera would be used for online sales, color accuracy was critical. Unfortunately I had no choice but to return the item. On the other hand, there is some video noise in the darker parts of the image. but I made it go away with the YouCam 9 software, it doesn't matter anyway. The picture was very clear, the autofocus worked well. Manual focus was very good for scenes where focus accuracy is important. It's not a high-end camera with manual white balance, which would be nice but isn't expected at this price point. Conclusion - I would abandon this camera if I used it for scenes where color accuracy for reds is not critical (churches, gatherings, groups, surveillance, etc.). I would not regret using the camera in most general purpose situations.
