I often work at home and I usually find it difficult to connect/disconnect everything when I get home or to work. At first I thought about buying a docking station but really didn't want to shell out $200 each. This USB hub can be used as a docking station in a similar way and for a small price. This is probably one of the best QOL purchases I've made for my MBP - I use this USB hub daily and it's survived a lot of travel. I've never had problems with standard USB devices like keyboards, mice, and thumb drives. I ran into a small issue after about 3-4 months of use when my HDMI port stopped working reliably. This can be caused by accidentally plugging the power cord into the wrong USB-C port. Pay attention to the marking. Only the USB-C port next to the HDMI port is for the power adapter. See photos for more information. I contacted support and got a replacement right away, no questions asked. They managed to diagnose the probable cause of the malfunction described above. The support staff were very helpful and were able to keep my experience positive. I will definitely continue to buy products from this company!
